An engaging British voice. Think BBC news - composed, reassuring, authoritative and sincere.

I tend to favour RP English, but can vary this from calm and gentle, through authoratitive and professional to more urgent, even hard-sell.

My style is especially suited to documentaries and technical narration, and comments from clients have included: "engaging and natural", "sounds like he knows all our technical jargon inside out" (I didn't!) and "trustworthy - a safe pair of hands".

I am trained in journalism and radio presentation, with several years experience of reporting and presenting radio news programmes.

I have also trained under voiceover talent and trainer Gary Terza in the UK.

I specialise in technical narration for industry and education and audiobook narration. Recent work has included several video presentations for Shell Global Solutions, including their website voiceover, an international educational project for schoolchildren called "Squirrel Maths" and the audio versions of a popular children's English language magazine in Hong Kong called "Typhoon Club".

I have also recently voiced a national TV advert for the Co-operative Bank on UK Channel 4, narrated the website video for the Roman Baths Museum in Bath, England and have just finished recording the narration of a science fiction audiobook "The Last Reef", which is on sale at audible.com.

I spent many years as a radio news presenter, but have also performed a number of adverts for commercial radio.

Moving from radio to PR I worked on numerous presentations, features and media interviews for Transco and British Gas, including co-presenting a syndicated radio feature with actress Honor Blackman.

I have also produced relaxation and hypnotherapy CDs and tapes and worked for the "Talking Books" projects for visually impaired people.
